Service
From brick walls to historic stone and metal surfaces — we erase graffiti while keeping what matters untouched. No chemicals, no surface damage, no pressure washing runoff.
The Problem With Traditional Methods
Portland's Old Port, Exchange Street, Lewiston's downtown — historic brick and granite that's been tagged presents a real problem. Pressure washing pushes water and pigment into mortar joints. Chemical treatments lighten and stain masonry. Abrasive methods profile the surface, making future tagging stick even better.
Laser removes the paint without touching the stone or wood surfaces beneath. The beam vaporizes pigment at the surface while the substrate absorbs nothing. No chemical runoff. No water damage. No altered texture.
Why It Works
Laser Cleaning
Laser light vaporizes paint pigment without penetrating or profiling the substrate. Historic brick from 1890 looks the same after treatment as before — except clean. No ghost marks, no lightening.
Pressure Washing
High-pressure water forces pigment deeper into porous masonry, makes mortar absorb moisture, and does nothing for solvent-based spray paints. Often the result looks worse than the original tag.
Chemical Strippers
Graffiti removal chemicals require containment, generate hazardous waste, and can bleach or discolor masonry. Not approved for use on many historic preservation projects. Creates cleanup liability.

For Cities and Towns
Portland and Lewiston/Auburn both deal with recurring graffiti on public infrastructure — retaining walls, transit stops, historic district buildings. Laser cleaning is preservation-compliant and generates no chemical waste, which makes it compatible with municipal environmental standards.
We can work on a per-incident basis or discuss a service agreement for recurring abatement. Either way, response is fast — we're mobile and equipped to deploy within the service area on short notice.
